Who we are
Checkmait (Checkmait AI Automation Studios Inc.) is an Ontario company based in London, Ontario. Questions about this policy or about your information go to info@checkmaitai.com.
What we collect on this site
The contact form. When you send a message we receive your name, your email address and what you wrote. We use them to reply to you and, if you ask us to, to arrange a call. The message is delivered to our inbox and may also be recorded in the customer relationship system we use to keep track of enquiries.
Abuse protection. To stop the form being flooded, our server counts submissions from each internet address for one minute. The address is held in memory for that minute and not stored.
Site measurement. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to see which pages are visited and how fast they load. They do not use cookies, do not identify you, and report in aggregate.
Your theme choice. If you switch the site between light and dark, that choice is saved in your own browser so it is remembered next time. Nothing about it is sent to us.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site.
Email and text messages
We send commercial electronic messages only to people who have asked for them or with whom we have an existing business relationship, as Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL) requires. Every such message says who it is from and includes a way to stop receiving them. To stop at any time, reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or write to info@checkmaitai.com.
Who handles your information for us
This site is hosted, and its measurement run, by Vercel. Our email runs on Google Workspace. Where we use a customer relationship system or an email delivery service to receive form messages, those providers process the message on our behalf. Some of these providers store data outside Canada.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it. Email info@checkmaitai.com and we will respond.
Changes
When this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new effective date.
